This is the most important factor yet the most basic feature in a camera. Basically, a camera is considered good or not depending on its resolution. Choose a high-resolution camera to ensure the videos and images captured are clear.

You want your camera to capture everything that is going on at all times, even in the dark. A camera with night vision will ensure you get clear videos and images captured even in the dead of the night. These use smart infrared capabilities. The camera automatically switches capabilities and vision between day and night.

• Two-Way Communication

The smart camera has a built-in speaker and mic to ensure two-way communication. Incase the nanny is away from the phone, you can call-in the camera speaker.

• Memory

There are cameras that have cloud memories and cameras that use SD cards to store data. I would recommend a camera with a cloud backup because it means you will not lose your data should anything happen to the camera.

Whether you want others to know that you have installed the camera or not will totally depend on you. Though if you have kids, it is best if you hide them. They come in different forms and shapes, best believe it. I saw a butterfly camera and a pen camera, but the best one yet is a button camera. Place them anywhere and you are good.
